It is said that Green tea originated in China over 5000 years ago as a health and medicinal drink. Originally a drink of choice for only the wealthy, Green tea is now the second most popular drink in the world, behind only water.

We recommend making Green tea by adding 1/3 cup cold water to your hot water, prior to infusing the bag. If you pour hot water directly onto the bag, the boiling water can damage the delicate leaves producing a bitter taste.
